CREATING NEW INTERIORS...AND NEW EXTERIORS

As the summer months gradually slip away, and as we face the changes that come with fall, I've been doing some rearranging of my space.

Pulling that wicker bench up next to one of my bookshelves offers an opportunity to curl up and read, especially when the days and nights turn cool again.

In this second photo, you can see another perspective on the cozy sitting space.

 
But fall is also all about the new school year, too, which is why I enjoyed doing a little shopping with my granddaughter Fiona...and then asking her to pose for some photos.

Here she is modeling some of her new outfits.

And here is another one...a favorite.

New clothes weren't quite enough, though, so on Tuesday, off we went to the hair salon, where my daughter Heather took charge and created a new hairstyle (and color!).

I'm still reeling from this last change.
